About HappyFrames

I'm building HappyFrames to help parents make informed decisions about family entertainment. The platform provides scene-by-scene content warnings and timestamps for animated G and PG movies — so families can enjoy movie nights without surprises.

My Mission

As a parent, I know how hard it can be to find truly safe and appropriate entertainment for young kids — even in movies labeled “family-friendly.” That’s why I created HappyFrames. Each movie on the platform is manually reviewed, with clear and precise timestamps for scenes that might include mild language, suggestive behavior, scary moments, or anything worth being aware of. My goal is simple: give you the information I wish I had as a parent — so you can relax, press play, and enjoy the night without worry.

Family Safety First

Every timestamp is added to give you peace of mind — nothing automated, nothing random.

Parent-Driven

This tool was built by a parent, for parents. I understand how important screen-time decisions are.

Curated Selection

Only G and PG animated movies are reviewed — no live action, no PG-13, no surprises.

My Values

The principles that guide everything I do at HappyFrames

Transparency

You deserve the full picture — no vague warnings, no sugarcoating, and no hidden content.

Family Focus

Every decision is made with families in mind, especially those raising younger kids in today’s media world.

Quality

I don’t rely on AI to guess what's in a movie. Every timestamp is manually reviewed for clarity and accuracy.

The Story Behind HappyFrames

This all started with a simple frustration: I was tired of starting movies for my kids, only to suddenly pause or fast-forward because of unexpected content.

Many so-called “family films” still have scenes that feel too intense, scary, or just not right for a 5-year-old. I didn’t want to rely on vague MPAA ratings or anonymous reviews. So I started building something better — a clear, timestamp-based content guide made specifically for G and PG animated films. I believe parents deserve to know exactly what’s coming — and kids deserve to watch something that truly feels safe.

Have Questions or Suggestions?

I'm always working to improve HappyFrames and add more reviewed movies. If you have ideas, feedback, or want to request a specific title, I’d love to hear from you.
